Agreed with other reviewers. This software was clunky and unresponsive. Filling in and populating fields worked randomly and there were some inconsistencies between what the software offered and what current DSM and ICD codes were. I could echo the other sentiments of the other reviewers. The trial worked reasonably OK and as good as I'd expect a trial offer to work. Once I purchased the product, I ran into issue after issue. Despite multiple follow ups with Norm, who was initially cheery and supportive, I never received back up discs despite multiple requests. In fact, I received no technical support whatsoever. There are certainly other, better options for software and options that have tech support who follow up. I would not only not recommend this software, but warn others to stay far away from the product.

At this point I am in full agreement with "Guest" regarding Confidant Software. I have experienced some different issues: tried to import data into the program using the "Import template" Excel spreadsheet. Did not import successfully despite my renaming and reorganizing my original Excel spreadsheet to match their headings etc. I did as much trouble shooting as I was able to (I'm reasonably tech savvy). I requested support from the Confidant's support portal. I was rewarded with an email from Erick asking several ostensibly good questions, however, that is as far as it went. Despite his promise to get back to me, nothing to date (that was over a month and two subsequent support requests ago). As with Guest above, I would recommend against purchasing this software and, from what I have experienced so far, anything created and sold by ProSoft Practice Solutions. Spread the word, this appears to be a sub-standard product with abysmal support.

Very Disappointing Product and Service. Please read. After a lot of investigation of products, I decided to try the Confidant software. I needed a basic software package and the description of Confidant seemed to fit. I did the trial offer and decided to purchase the software because of the cost reduction of the Labor day Sale. I purchased the software and for an additional small charge a backup disc for the current version. The purchase was made in late August.The download went reasonably smooth. I received acknowledgement of the purchase. A positive experience up to this point. After the purchase I attempted to use the Forms sections of the software to no avail. The forms were encrypted and could not be used. I never got a response from the tech support team after several attempts. I attempted a follow up to a Norm at Confidant software. I have received two emails from Norm, one being an apology stating Confidant will do a better job and the second stating the company is going through a transition period and running into problems. I have not received the backup disc I ordered nor tech support. I seriously doubt I ever will. After two months, I do not use the software because it needs tech support and and the forms remain unusable. These are solvable issues that for some reason Confidant will not address. Therefore I am very disappointed in the product and service. I think the basic software is good if working properly. The backup disc, put it in the mail and it would be resolved. Disappointing. Because of the above, I would not recommend this product, this company, or the sites that promote Confidant for they have not done the homework necessary for quality control. I would be happy to update this review if the above issues get properly resolved.
